About Us
Our Story
I started sharpening hairdresser scissors over 20 years ago. It was challenging to build a consistent customer base with all the travel required between Invercargill and Christchurch, so the mobile service got a lot less frequent.
Around 10 years ago, we invested in a clipper blade machine and learned the art of clipper blade and knife sharpening, both by machine and by hand.
My Facebook page is DeepSouth Sharpening, which is also linked to Instagram. I work from home and also offer mobile sharpening services for scissors.
